Cart Noodles – Street Food with a Story
Cart Noodles originated on the streets of Hong Kong in the 1950s–60s. Served from small pushcarts, these simple noodle bowls allowed diners to choose their own ingredients based on taste and budget.
What began as street food has become a local classic.
Today, Cart Noodles stand for
freedom of choice, bold flavors, and the true taste of Hong Kong.
One bowl, endless possibilities — this is how Hong Kong tastes.
About us
In Frankfurt's Block 12 traffic zone, a small restaurant hides that embodies the typical street food culture of Hong Kong.
We stubbornly stick to the traditional flavors of Cantonese street food: our wagon noodle broth simmers for 8 hours, the fish balls are so springy they almost jump off the plate—and even the curry sauce follows a tried-and-true recipe from an experienced Hong Kong chef.
